Wickliffe to Offer Small Business Grants (from CARES Act money; Geauga Commissioners screw over local businesses)

By : Justin Ransom

Local small businesses in Wickliffe will have an opportunity to apply for a small business grant for up to $5,000 thanks to $300,000 allocated from the CARES Act.

Wickliffe City Council on Oct. 12 approved the plan in order to provide immediate assistance to small businesses because of the economic impact caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic…

The Three Stooges who sit at the Geauga Commissioner’s table spent  $1,105,930.13 of CARES Act money for the County Engineer’s Office for the purchase of 4 chainsaws, 6 snow plow trucks, 1 Ford 550 quad cab mechanics vehicle, 1 mini excavator and for Job and Family Services for the purchase of a GMC Acadia SUV.

Screw the little guy struggling to keep his business going.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT THE NEXT TIME THEY ARE UP FOR ELECTION: LENNON, DVORAK AND SPIDILIARI.

How can we get rid of them now?

  1. They don’t care about tax payers they only care about feeding their own ego
    Part of the swamp

  2. So who helps my small business? Looks like we should be getting a tax cut since Geauga County stole the money intended to help small businesses and taxpayers. Corrupt Flaiz runs the commissioners! This swamp is ruining our county. It’s time to investigate this corruption!

  3. We should be getting half our property taxes credited for this year that go to the schools since they were locked down in March.
